CUSTOM FRAMING
With over three decades of custom framing experience we can frame anything at Island Expressions. Each custom framing order begins with a framing consultation. When you bring your artwork in to the shop, we will take the time to help you pick the perfect framing combination to not only enhance your artwork, but also to preserve it for generations to come. We specialize in conservation custom framing, which means that we use the highest quality archival materials so that your investment in custom framing is a value that lasts beyond your years.

Each Custom Frame is built from start to finish to the specifications for your artwork
There is no limit to what we can frame. We have experience framing not only artwork, but also sports jerseys, original paintings, a piece of the Berlin Wall and even a 400 pound fossil! Every job is truly custom, so don't hesitate to reach out to us no matter how untraditional your project may be. We love the challenge of making your vision come to life!
Our Services

Shadowboxes
We build custom shadowboxes for your three-dimensional art pieces. Whether a traditional sports jersey, a treasured heirloom, or a military uniform, we will help you come up with a design to make this the centerpiece of a room. We can put multiple items in one shadowbox, we have even framed a piece of the Berlin Wall along with barbed wire and pictures from Germany.

Diplomas
Diplomas and certificates are a specialty that we frame often, so we have many suggestions and ideas to guide you to your decision. Whether you want to highlight your school colors or go with a more traditional black or gold frame, we are happy to show you all of your options that will preserve your treasured documents.

Canvas Artwork
Original paintings or prints on canvas require custom designs from the stretcher bars to the style of frame. If your canvas requires stretcher bars and stretching, we will show you the difference between traditional and gallery wrapped stretching. You then can choose either a traditional custom frame or a floater frame which the canvas appears to float in.
